Join us for this exceptional Florida kayak tour on one of the largest artesian formations in the world. Florida’s Silver Springs and Silver River.
The natural beauty of Silver Springs has been a favored Florida kayak destination and attracted visitors from around the country. The spring pumps out about 550 million gallons of water a day. Silver Springs is the headwaters of the Silver River, the largest tributary on the Ocklawaha River, a part of the St. Johns River water system. This is one of the best pictorial kayak tours in Florida, with the Spring boasting crystal clear water and abundant wildlife, including wild Rhesus Monkeys living along the shore line. Truly a kayak paradise.
What to expect
We will launch at the head Spring and paddle/drift down stream on the Silver River, taking our time and taking plenty of pictures of all the flora & fauna. This is an easy Florida Springs paddle down stream. We will stop about half way and eat lunch.

Kayak Paddle Duration ~ depends how long we stop to take pictures about 4 hours.

This tour will leave from the St Augustine Lighthouse Park located at 442 Ocean Vista Ave. St. Augustine Fl. 32080 at 7:30 a.m. Please arrive 30 minutes early. Please be prompt. We should be back in St Augustine around 5:00 p.m.
Price is $125.00 per person and includes – kayak, paddle, PFD, dry bag, transportation to and from St. Augustine, catered lunch (big fat sandwich with chips and a pickle ) bottled water, State Park entrance fee, launch fee and a friendly professional University of Florida, naturalist as your guide. If you would prefer to bring your own lunch, subtract $10.00.
Silver Springs is 1 hour and 50 minutes from St Augustine. 78 miles
St Augustine Adventures ~ Tour Package 2. ~ Meet us there.
Price $75.00 per person and includes ~ kayak, PFD, paddle, dry bag, shuttle back to your car and a UF Naturalist guide equipped with a camera to capture lasting memories. You will be responsible for State Park entrance fee and launch fee. We will give you launch spot directions and time when you reserve.
We have solo and tandem sit on top kayaks available for this tour. Reservations must be pre paid 48 hours before and a 48 hour cancellation notice is required for a full refund. As with all our tours, if this kayak tour is canceled by Kayak St Augustine due to weather or any reason. customer will receive a full refund.

What to bring
Wet shoes or shoes that can get wet, hat, sunblock, bug spray, any additional snacks or drinks. camera, change of clothes and camera. All who are riding with us, you may only bring one backpack per person in the van. No coolers. No drinking or eating in the van, with the exception of bottled water. We will make one pit stop on the way and the way home.
